In this article we explain how to manage the DNS records of your own domain. With a DNS record you can, for example, set up an external mailserver or add a subdomain.
Step 1: Log in to My Cloud86
Start by logging in to My Cloud86. Use the login details you created during registration. Have you lost your login details? Then choose Forgot password. New login details will be sent to the email address you registered with.
Step 2: Go to Manage DNS
In the left menu, click on Domains and then on Manage DNS.
Step 3: Edit Domain
Select the domain you want to manage the DNS records of by clicking the pencil icon behind it (this is the Edit DNS zone button).
If the domain you want to manage the DNS doesn't appear in this list, you can add it yourself. Follow this guide to add a new domain to the DNS server.
